11th POA Convention in Warsaw
We cordially invite You to the 11th POA Convention, which will be held from 12 to 15 August in Warsaw.
This time we are moving to the big, energetic and hasty capital of Poland – Warsaw. We chose the quiet Ursynów district so the noise and bustle would not overwhelm the paper-folding fans. The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) invites you to its hospitable dorms. Can there be a better place to satisfy every need of origami fan?
The accommodation will be held in modern students houses of SGGW (ADISS)
During a break from paper folding we recommend to see city panorama from 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science, admire the Wilanów Palace and its garden or to take a walk along Krakowskie Przedmieście Street.
The participation in the Convention associated with the conference fee. Like every year there will be workshops accompanied with exhibition so we highly recommend bringing your models in order to show it to other participants and visitors. We are planning many attractions. Detailed convention schedule will be published in the beginning of July.
Before the Convention please remember to pay the membership fee for 2016. At the Convention there will be a possibility to purchase the earlier issues of the POA bulletin (by paying the archive membership fee).
